This is my partner’s OG. A true cornerstone for him—and the first restaurant where he felt like he could order like a normal person after his diagnosis.   We went here on our second date, and we still stop in anytime we’re nearby.

The food is typically solid, though we’ve definitely caught it on an off day or two. The vibe is very casual—think styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. Margaritas are the pre-mixed kind (and sadly, no spicy option), but you can get gluten-free Mexican food and drive-through margaritas, which honestly feels like a win.

The kitchen is confident and comfortable with gluten-free prep. Chips are safe (although there's a cost) but the salsa is complimentary. We almost always enjoy the food. My partner's go-to is the chicken enchiladas; mine is the chimichanga. He swears the rotisserie chicken is melt-in-your-mouth good.

Atmosphere-wise, we're not here for the ambiance—we're here for safety, ease, and familiarity. And that matters.
